Outfits from SHOT Show 2020
On my way to the show!
SHOT Show 2020 was a success! Last week I was in Las Vegas, NV for the largest trade show in the sport shooting, hunting and outdoor industry. It’s always fun to attend, but this year was particularly special because I got to reveal the new concealed carry purse I designed in collaboration with Cameleon Bags! The bag is currently up for pre-sale and expected to be available May 1st, 2020.
Prior to the show, I had only seen the prototype in pictures and video, but holding the bag made me appreciate it even more! I was surprised to find that the leather on such a structured purse, felt so supple. Honestly, I didn’t want to put it down! It was all I could do to leave it in the booth each day until the show was over around dinner time! After show hours, I brought it along with me, which you’ll see in the photos below.
For your enjoyment, I’m sharing the outfits I wore during the show. I also made sure to link items (or similar items) from each picture.
After the first day of SHOT Show, and the day I got to see our collaboration bag in person! I got to wear it to dinner.
Day 2 - I must have walked miles each day so I opted for a pair of comfortable sneakers to go with my pencil skirt. My favorite part about this ensemble is the earrings!
HERE’S a similar pair of gem butterfly earrings.
Day 3 - I dressed up this simple outfit and gold statement earrings and matching gold belt. However, the real feature is this pair of jeans! This picture doesn’t do them justice, but I was able to find such a great fit. I love that they’re high-waisted, skinny jeans and hit right at my ankle. (I’m almost 5’2” and choose to get mine in the petite section for this length).
Shirt (Similar) | Jeans | Flats (Also in other colors)
I wore this to a 1920’s style speakeasy for an awesome networking event called the Women Of The Industry Party.
Day 4 - The final day of the show! Don’t worry, I didn’t wear stilettos the whole day, just for the occasional picture or meeting. This blouse from LOFT is one of my favorites because it combines the pinstripes common in a cotton button down, with the movement of a blouse. It was a nice relaxed fit for the last day.
