Why We Like It
The 945 Industries Cordura was one of my favorite bags in this roundup. It was just the right size for my frame, sat close to my body, and was comfortable enough that I reached for it regularly on walks and errands.
Its biggest strength is accessibility. The oversized quick-access pull tab has a grippy rubber end that's easy to find by feel and consistently opened the firearm compartment completely with one smooth pull. Of all the bags I tested, this was the easiest and fastest to access.
Security is equally impressive. Every bag includes an IWB Velcro holster adapter, which allows you to securely attach your own IWB Kydex holster inside the firearm compartment. If you prefer, you can upgrade to a Velcro-backed Kydex holster molded specifically for your firearm. The hook-and-loop-lined compartment also allows you to use another compatible holster or mounting system.
Storage is generous, with room for my phone, sunglasses, keys, lotion, pens, and other everyday essentials. I also appreciated the included strap options and multiple attachment points, allowing the bag to be worn several different ways.
My Experience
This was one of the most comfortable bags I tested. It sat flush against my body with even weight distribution and never felt bulky, even on my 5'2" frame.
My only drawback is the oversized quick-access pull tab. While I loved how well it worked, it's more noticeable than most and could hint that the bag is designed for concealed carry. Even so, the fast, reliable access made that tradeoff well worth it.

Why We Like It
The Vertx Everyday Fanny Pack 2.1 was another one of my favorites because it's one of the most covert concealed carry bags I tested. Its size, shape, and styling look very similar to the popular belt-bags so many women already wear, making it one of the easiest bags to blend into everyday life.
It was also one of the most comfortable bags in the roundup. It fit my 5'2" frame well and sat comfortably against my body when worn crossbody.
The bag includes a modular holster retention adapter that allows you to securely attach your own IWB Kydex holster inside the firearm compartment, creating a stable platform with full trigger protection. I also appreciated the locking zipper feature. The zipper pulls include alignment holes that allow you to secure the firearm compartment with a small lock when the bag isn't being worn. Just be sure not to use the lock while carrying the bag so you can still access your firearm if needed.
The grippy rubber pull tab is easy to locate by feel and can be attached in different positions depending on your preferred draw. It can be used as a quick-access pull tab when attached to the inside corner of the bag, but I found this one easier to use when connected directly to the main zipper. Just be sure to attach it to the zipper itself rather than the locking loop, as the zipper opens more smoothly this way.
My Experience
bag concealed well because it looks so much like a standard fashion belt-bag. If someone asked me which bag attracted the least attention, this would be my choice.
My only drawback was storage. It has a little less room than the other bags. The front pocket comfortably held my lotion, chapstick, keys, and other small essentials, but not my sunglasses. However, by moving my phone to the flat rear pocket, I was able to fit my sunglasses in the front compartment as well.
For reference, I'm 5'2" with a moderate torso.

Its rigid back panel keeps the firearm from shifting or tilting away from your body, so the grip stays in a consistent position whether the bag is worn around your waist or across your torso.
The firearm compartment includes both a Velcro-backed holster and an adjustable retention strap that help keep the holster firmly in place against the back panel. Unlike some of the more flexible bags, where the back panel can bend slightly and allow the grip to angle away from your body, this bag held everything securely in place throughout my testing.
The quick-access pull tab consistently opened the entire firearm compartment in one smooth motion, completely clearing the gun for an easy draw. I also liked that the pull tab is a lighter color, making it easier to spot with my peripheral vision when reaching for it.
Comfort was another pleasant surprise. The bag was comfortable both around my waist and worn crossbody, and the breathable mesh back panel helped improve airflow on warmer days.
Storage is generous, with enough room for my keys, sunglasses, lotion, and other everyday essentials.
My Experience
This bag concealed well and looked like a typical everyday belt-bag rather than dedicated concealed carry gear.

Its tapered sides and flexible back panel allowed it to conform to my body, making it especially comfortable for extended wear. I was also able to tighten it enough that it stayed secure while jogging with less bounce than the other bags I tested.
It also offered the most usable storage of any bag in this roundup. The front compartment includes two large pockets with several organizer pockets inside, giving me plenty of room for my phone, sunglasses, lipstick, keys, and other everyday essentials.
Another thing I liked was its discreet appearance. It looks like a typical everyday fanny pack rather than concealed carry gear. Although it doesn't have a dedicated quick-access pull tab, the large plastic zipper pulls are easy to grab. Since several compartments use the same zipper pulls, I recommend removing all but the one on the firearm compartment so you can immediately identify the correct zipper by feel.
My Experience
I could wear the bag crossbody, but I found it much more comfortable around my waist.
One thing I didn't care for was the included elastic retention loop. During my draw, it pulled away from the bag and stayed wrapped around the firearm, where it could interfere with establishing a proper grip and accessing the trigger. I recommend replacing it with a Velcro-backed Kydex holster or another compatible hook-and-loop holster system.
Because the back panel is flexible, the zipper tracks a little differently when the bag is worn snugly against your body. It's not difficult to use, but it does take a little practice to get used to.

Storage is another strength. The non-gun compartment includes three divider pockets for organizing everyday essentials, a built-in clip for keys, pepper spray, or even a ring, and enough room for my phone, sunglasses, keys, and other small items. I also appreciated the flat rear pocket with dual zipper access. Inside the firearm compartment are four elastic loops for carrying spare magazines or other small gear.
My Experience
I found the standard zipper easier to use than the small quick-access pull tab. While the pull tab worked, it often caught on the gun before fully opening the compartment. Using the main zipper gave me faster, more reliable access.
The bag concealed well, although its exterior webbing and Velcro panels give it a more tactical appearance than some of the other bags in this roundup.
I preferred wearing this bag around my waist, where the tapered side panels made it very comfortable and the Multi-Mount kept the firearm exceptionally stable. Worn crossbody, the bag didn't lie as flat against my torso, causing the grip to angle slightly away from my body as the bag flexed, even though the holster itself remained firmly attached.
It could also work well for running if the strap is tightened securely, although the amount of bounce will depend on the weight of your firearm.
