Natalie’s Note:
I’ve been searching for an ankle holster to carry in the boutique for several years, and I’ve tested quite a few along the way. Most just didn’t feel right; either they were unstable, uncomfortable, or didn’t fit well on a smaller ankle. This one stood out, and it’s one I’m proud to add to the store.

The synthetic shearling lining is soft against the skin and helps prevent irritation. The elastic flexes just enough so you don’t feel restricted, while still holding the gun securely.

One feature I especially appreciate is the calf strap. It’s adjustable in both height and width, so you can tailor it to your body. While it’s optional, I strongly recommend including it. It adds stability and helps keep the holster from slipping down throughout the day.

For reference, I have a petite ankle and feel comfortable carrying my Sig P365 under long skirts. With wide-leg pants, I prefer a smaller firearm like the Ruger LCP to minimize printing.

As with any strap worn around the body, you may start to feel it by the end of the day. Still, this is the most comfortable ankle holster I've tried for two key reasons.

  • The soft lining prevents irritation against your skin and creates a buffer between your ankle and the firearm.
  • The flexible bands allow your calf to flex and move naturally without feeling restricted.

This will depend on the weight of your gun, but for added stability, a calf strap makes a noticeable difference. It helps distribute the weight and prevents the holster from slipping.

Smaller firearms tend to be the most comfortable and easiest to conceal. Many women prefer micro or subcompact options for daily wear. That said, it's possible to carry a slightly larger firearm depending on your outfit and how the holster fits your body.

It depends on the cut and fabric of your pants, as well as the size of your firearm. Wide-leg or bell-bottom styles tend to conceal more easily. Choosing a small firearm or one with a short grip can help minimize printing.

Yes, ankle carry works well with maxi skirts or dresses. It's a great option for outfits where waistband carry isn't ideal. Just be cautious about showing the firearm when crossing your legs or when using a public bathroom stall.

It can be, depending on your lifestyle and preferences. Some use it as a primary method, while others prefer it as a backup option. Its especially useful when waistband carry isn't comfortable or doesn't work with your outfit.

Yes, the adjustable designs and flexible materials can help create a better fit across different body types, including more petite ankles.

The calf strap is optional but recommended. It adds stability and keeps the gun from slipping down throughout the day, especially during extended wear.
