Choose her size
Use the manufacturer’s size guide below and prioritize her waist measurement. The waistband should fit snugly to hold everything in place when she carries.
The manufacturer notes that she may hear a “cracking” sound when first trying on the pants. This is normal as the material breaks in and does not (by itself) mean the pants are too small.

Inner or outer thigh?
- Fitted styles, such as pencil or bodycon: Choose the inner thigh holster shorts. These also work with A-line and fuller skirts, making them the more versatile option.
- Full or loose-fitting styles in thicker fabrics: Consider the outer thigh holster shorts. These are a little more comfortable in my experience and can accommodate a larger firearm, but need the extra room and fabric to help prevent printing.
Check her firearm’s fit
The inner thigh holster pocket fits most micro-compact and subcompact pistols, including these models and similarly
sized firearms:
- Glock 43 and 42
- Sig Sauer P365, P238, P938, and P290
- Ruger LCP, LCR, and LC9
- Smith & Wesson Bodyguard
The outer thigh holster pocket accommodates micro-compact pistols and single-stack pistols ranging subcompact to full-size (up to 7.4” in overall length). An optic may affect compatibility.
Choose her size
Look in her closet. If she normally wears a small in shorts, I would go with a small in the thigh holster shorts, too.
The manufacturer’s size guide is below. In my experience, these run a bit large, so I would prioritize her usual shorts size over the suggested measurements. For example, my waist measures 28” and my hips measure 39”, which puts me in a medium on the chart. However, I normally wear a small, and the small thigh holster shorts fit me best.

The straps are adjustable and stretchy, with a one-size-fits-all design. The holster insert, however, needs to match her firearm using the fit guide below.
Include the calf strap
I highly recommend selecting the calf strap to help keep the holster from sliding down her leg. She can remove it if she prefers, but calf straps aren’t sold separately, so she won’t be able to purchase one later.
Choose her holster size:
You’ll need the exact make and model of her firearm, including whether it has a laser. For example:

Leave the trimming to her
You can give her the belt uncut so she can customize the fit. When she’s ready to trim it:
- Add at least 4” to her pant size to determine where to cut the strap.
- Make the first cut longer than needed. She can always trim it down further.
Belts cannot be returned after cutting.
Start by checking whether her Kydex holster is IWB (inside the waistband) or OWB (outside the waistband). Her purse also needs a compatible hook-and-loop lining inside the concealed carry compartment.
Vertx Tactigami HolsterLock: For IWB holsters
The adjustable 1.5” nylon webbing strap fits most holster sizes and profiles and allows her to adjust the retention tighter or looser.

Multi-Mount Velcro Platform: For OWB holsters
The 1.5” belt tab provides an attachment point for a holster with a compatible clip or belt loop.
Both IWB and OWB holsters can attach to this platform, but an OWB holster generally provides the correct orientation inside a purse. An IWB holster may work if the concealment compartment has hook-and-loop lining on both walls, allowing her to mount it on the opposite side.
We do not sell OWB holsters, but this mount is an option if she already owns one.
